Adaptation Athletics

Adaptation Athletics was established in 2010 as a former CF affiliate. Our coaches are some of the most experienced in the DC area and are always educating themselves to better serve our athletes. We promise that you will never get bored with our constantly varied programming and that we can scale any workout to meet your needs. You will always feel challenged under the supervision of our professional staff.

After competing for years in club and collegiate level sports, I spent a long time searching for a structured workout program similar to those I had as a student athlete. The traditional gyms didn’t cut it…stale atmosphere, limited professional guidance, resulting in little to no motivation during workouts. So when I found Adaptation Athletics, I knew my search was over. Its outstanding coaches provide training that incorporates elements of gymnastics, weight lifting , as well as endurance training. I’ve become a more balanced athlete – increasing my overall strength while learning to prevent injury – all thanks to Adaptation Athletics.

As someone who virtually never worked out before, I was extremely intimidated to start at Adaptation. It turns out that it was all in my head. After belonging to Adaptation these past few years, I cannot imagine my life without it!  Adaptation is a community of like-minded individuals who encourage you by pushing you outside of your comfort zone, while ensuring that you are consistently improving your level of fitness.  I have formed life-long friendships, while reaching goals I never thought possible.  I can honestly say I’m now in the best shape of my life!

Class Schedule

Monday to Friday (post quarantine)

Early AM
5:30am & 7:00am

Mid-Day
9:30am, 11:00am, 1:30pm

Evenings
3:30pm, 4:45pm, 6:00pm, & 7:15pm*

*there is no 7:15pm class on Fridays

Open Gym Policy
Open Gym slots are available for each scheduled WOD time each day. There are 2 slots designated in the rear of the gym, marked in blue. These OG slots do not have access to any of the rigs. However, if the WOD classes are not full, the coach may make adjustments for your training.

As always, the floor coach has the final say.

Saturdays

7:30am, 9:00am, 10:30am, 12:00pm WOD times.

~ 2 Open Gym slots are available for each WOD time in the back.

~ the 12 noon WOD time can be used for both for the scheduled WOD or Open Gym.

~ Free Class for prospective clients has been SUSPENDED until further notice, due to COVID.

Sundays

Open Gym
9:00am and 6:00pm

NO KIDS PERMITTED
Currently, no kids are permitted inside the gym.
This is for their safety and to keep interactions minimal.

We hope to remove this policy this soon.
