Aaron is Virginia born and raised. The son of a preacher man, he hails from Williamsburg, Virginia in the good ole 757. For his day job, he works with the Department of Defense Marrow Donor Program, matching potential DoD donors with cancer patients. After years of walking on the treadmill and bench pressing with machines, his wife Sara convinced him to try CrossFit. Since joining CFFC in 2013, he says that he is in the best shape of his life. Aaron believes that consistency and intensity are the keys to change. “I find that in all areas of life if you do not attempt something that you can fail at, you will never grow. CrossFit has taught me how to identify my weakness, embrace pain, and seek after those things that seem insurmountable. CrossFit is often more mental than physical, so if you tell yourself you can do it – the body often will follow. The same is true in reverse.” Aaron is currently finishing his Masters in Liberal Studies at Georgetown University, and holds the CF-L1.
