I didn’t play sports as a kid and my extent of athleticism was being on the dance team my Freshman year in high school. Until I joined the Army, 23 years ago, and became an avid distance runner. However, after years of running, I found it daunting at times and needed something more dynamic in my workouts. I discovered CrossFit in 2010, and haven’t looked back since. I found the ever-changing workouts to not only keep me on my toes, but strengthened muscle groups I didn’t even know I had. The stronger I got, the better I felt and the more I could do in just every day life. More importantly, I found a community every where I went, similar to my time in the military. Now as a coach, I can pass that experience on to others. I enjoy helping people improve their skills, build strength and confidence and have fun doing it.
