I am a certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer; and began CrossFit in February 2011. As an athlete I played rugby in college, have completed a marathon and multiple half marathons, have competed locally in fitness competitions and recently began competing in Olympic weightlifting, having successfully qualified for and competed at the American Open Series III event in September 2017. As a coach, I have been coaching since May 2013 and enjoy helping members improve and push themselves in the gym, but I also love seeing how CrossFit can help people in other aspects of their life and I am grateful to be able to contribute to that growth. I enjoy helping members set goals, and talk about how things like nutrition, mobility, and recovery (including sleep!) can have significant impact on improved performance and quality of life (outside the gym).
